Code of Conduct
Last updated June 24, 2026
Even in the far future, competition is still at its best when all players agree on the rules. We take that seriously at 1047. We hold each other to high standards within our own team and expect members of the 1047 Games community to do the same in-game. Here’s what that means:
Play Fair
No cheating. No exploits. No exceptions.
Our games are built on skill, strategy, and, above all else, fair competition. If something gives you an unfair advantage or ruins the game for others, don’t do it.
That includes:
- Using third-party tools or cheat software to gain an advantage
- Exploiting in-game bugs or unintended mechanics
- Match throwing, win-trading, or griefing teammates
- Playing on someone else’s account to boost their rank or having someone play on yours
- Partying up with other players who are using cheats or exploits
Compete With Respect
Trash talk is part of the culture. Hate isn’t.
We know that things can heat up during intense matches, but the best competitors always show respect to both their teammates and opponents. If it creates a harmful or unsafe environment for someone else, don’t do it.
We prohibit:
- Personal attacks, slurs, and threats based on someone’s race, sexuality, gender, religion, or any other part of their identity
- Sharing any form of harmful, unlawful, sexuality explicit, or obscene content
- Doxxing or sharing anyone’s private information
- Impersonating a creator or 1047 Games employee
- Giving yourself an offensive username or creating offensive content in the Lab
Stay Safe Out There
You’re responsible for your account!
There are plenty of bad actors out there and it’s up to you to stay vigilant. 1047 staff will never ask you to share your password and you probably shouldn’t talk to that stranger who sent you a Discord message offering you free skins.
To stay safe:
- Don’t ever give someone your login info
- Don’t share private information about yourself
- Don’t buy or sell accounts
- Don’t click risky links from anyone suspicious
- Enable security features like two-factor authentication (2FA) if your platform supports it
Players who fail to meet these expectations may face consequences including temporary or permanent matchmaking restrictions, account suspensions, and revoked access to communication services.
To better uphold our Code of Conduct and keep players safe, we’ve partnered with Modulate to implement ToxMod, a voice moderation tool that helps our human moderators detect extreme or harmful behavior. ToxMod does not make moderation decisions, store long-term chat logs, or use voice data for any purpose beyond moderation. This data will never be sold or traded to any other parties. This helps us act faster on serious issues without compromising your privacy or relying on AI alone.
We may revise these rules and related penalties over time.
